| The first hotel |
of a higher class was the hotel “Kumanovo” in Kumanovo built in 1930. It was built by the Popovic family, based on the project of the Russian architect Vladimir Antonov. The hotel had three parts, a restaurant on the ground level, about 10 rooms on the first floor and a large summer garden in the back yard. It is interesting that at that time, within the hotel there was a barber shop and the services for the guests were covered by the hotel. |

| The museum of the city of Kratovo |
 has been established in 1993. The museum has a unique Ethnology division which hosts traditional costumes which originate in a very distant period in the past, like women’s and men’s Sopska costume, Kotor costume and Planonska costume. All of these costumes vary radically one from the other. |

| The Museum of the city of Skopje |
 is relocated in the adapted part of the old railway station in 1970. This area encompases 4.500 square meters, and 2.000 m2 is an exhibition space. The museum’s collection includes 21.950 pieces of art, displayed in four divisions: Archeology, History, Ethnology and Art History. The collection further encompasses 182 art photographs of the renowned photographer Blagoja Drnkov, a donation of Japan graphic pieces Ukiyoe, 159 paintings (mainly aquarelles) by Ljubomir Belogarski. |

| Tetovo |
 The ethno-museum, located in one room of the house of the architect Simeon Zlatev in the village Dzepciste near Tetovo, aspires to enter the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest ethno-museum in the world. The museum has 1.150 items, and can host only one visitor. The smallest ethno museum in the world has been seen by more than 5.000 visitors so far. |

| The locality Crn Kamen |
 (Black Stone) near Veles, is known to hold healing powers. The custom is to tie a black and white ribbon on the surrounding trees for fertility and abundancy. In the mountains a large round cave is located, over which a heavy waters fall. The legends holds that if you pass under the water and aren’t wet, that you are an honest and good person. |
