Bozguni Cave,village Patiska Reka

Depart from Skopje. After an hour arrive in the village Patiska Reka. Continue on foot to the entrance of the Bozguni cave (Cave of Evil). The Entrance of this cave represents an immense passage from the outside towards the huge hall inside the cave, partially lit by sunlight. The tourists then continue towards the lower hall, which is cold and there is snow and ice throughout the year. This cave is known as a speleo- biological reservation since numerous types of cave insects have been discovered there. Inside the cave there is a labyrinth of cave channels that is allowed for visit only with a speleologist. The cave has been given this name precisely because of the labyrinth of cave channels.

2 hours driving
45 min hiking
Information on the locations visited
Learning about the rare flora and fauna in the Cave
A possibility for photographing of the objects in the caves and the idyllic scenery
