Ice Cave,village Breznica

Depart from Skopje. After an hour arrive in the village Breznica. Continue on foot to the entrance of the Ice Cave.The path leads through Turi Bunari, and it was named Bunari (wells) because of the large number of wells that the villagers filled with snow in the winter in order to have enough supplies of water for the animals in the summer months. Arrive to the entrance which is almost vertical. The cave is called Ice Cave because in winter, the specific winds that are a result of the geomorphologic shape of the cave, which looks like a boot, make icy ornaments and the cave becomes a real ice castle. After the visit of the cave, the tourists continue towards hill peak, and from this peak, there is a magnificent panoramic view of the village Breznica. Depart for Skopje.
