NATIONAL PARK MAVROVO 
The daily mountain biking tours are divided into three groups depending on the interest and the physical fitness of the bikers:

Tour Nr. 1
Riding around the Mavrovo Lake and visit to Nikiforovo, Leunovo and the Vrben dam. The path is made of asphalt and it is 40 km long.

Duration 3,5 – 4,5 hrs  

Tour Nr.2

Cable car ride up to Bachilo (mountain dairy), to the Yellow ski lift. Riding on the three mountain biking paths of 15- 40 km length, depending on the bikers’ fitness. Visit to one two mountain dairies and a herd of wild horses. The riding takes place on macadam road and dirt paths. The riding ends with a speed ride of 10 km on an asphalt road. The biking takes place at 1760- 1850 m altitude. Duration 3,5- 5,5 hrs. Optional visit to Galichnik and the smallest church St. Petka. 

Tour Nr.3

Riding up the asphalt path to the Crvena Voda location (about 10km) at 1850 km altitude. Continue with tour 2. and visit to Galichnik.

Duration 3,5- 6,5 hrs.

This tour is only recommended for advanced mountain bikers.
All daily tours begin from Skopje, departure at 8 and return about 16:00.
Professional guides for mountain biking are responsible for fixing defects of bikes, as well as providing energy drinks and a cold meal.                                                Each tour is organized for at least three participants.

Daily rent of KTM bike costs 15 - 25 Eur depending on the type and components of the bike.
