Monastery Beljakovo Magnificent quarters, oak trees, sheep and goats, turkeys and geese and beehives full of honey. That is how the Beljakovo monastery looked 60 years ago. This religious place is located in the Kumanovo village of Beljakovce, some 70km east of Skopje. Befor the First World War, the monastery lived rich monastic life.

In the garden, next to the beautiful church Holy Mother of God, several stone crosses can be found, as well as fountains and wells with healing powers. The church of St. Nicholas (17c.) and a small Roman but ruined church, are also located in the village. The stone crosses dedicated to certain saints, patrons of the village.
