1st day  Skopje

Upon arrival at Skopje airport, the guests will be met and transfered to hotel.
Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and  overnight.

2nd day  Skopje

Holy Salvation, Mustapha Pasha Mosque, National museum, Cathedral Church, monument of Mother Teresa,  Memorial Monument of the earthquake from 1963.
Breakfast. Morning  sightseeing city tour: Old and new parts of the Macedonian capital, old stone bridge, city fortress, the church of Holy Salvation with the marvelous wood-carved iconostasis, Mustapha Pasha Mosque, old caravan inns, National museum, new Cathedral Church,  monument of Mother Teresa  (She is born in Skopje), the Memorial Monument of the earthquake from 1963 … A tour continues to Ohrid. Dinner and overnight.

3rd day Ohrid

St. Sophia, St. Clement, St.J ohn Kaneo, St. Panteleimon, St. Nahum, Tsar Samoil fortress. Breakfast. Ohrid and Ohrid Lake, the gem of Macedonia – two days to enjoy this pleasant place, rich in culture and tradition – named by someone ,,Jerusalem of Balkans,, Walking city tour: the harbor, the Cathedral  Church of  St. Sophia  (11th C.) the churches  St. Clement, St.J ohn Kaneo and St. Panteleimon, Tsar Samoil fortress …In the afternoon excursion to the Monastery  of  St. Nahum  (10th C.) a beautiful spot on Ohrid Lake. Follow the shores of the lake the tour is passing through the picturesque fishing villages of Peshtane, Trpejca and Ljubanishta. Dinner and overnight in Ohrid.

4th day  Struga, village Vevchani

Day  at leisure. On the late afternoon  visit the city of Struga and the village of Vevchani where will be served a dinner in a typical national restaurant. Overnight in Ohrid.

5th day Bitola, Krushevo

Heraclea Lyncestis, Breakfast and drive to Prespa Lake  (coffee break) and to Bitola - the second-largest city in Macedonia  (visit the antique city of Heraclea Lyncestis with the remains of churches from the early period of Christianity.) The tour continues to Krushevo a small town like eagle’s nest in the mountain. Here, during  the uprising against the Ottoman Empire (1903) was proclaimed a republic – the first one on Balkan Peninsula. Dinner and  overnight.

6th  day  Prilep, Dojran Lake

Memorial Monument of  "Ilinden", Monastery of St. Archangel  Michael,

After breakfast visit the Memorial Monument of ,,Ilinden,, uprising. Narrow streets, old  houses and churches are the main characteristic of the town. The next stop is Prilep – city of tobacco and marbel.Visit the Monastery of St. Archangel  Michael from 10th C. one of the eldest in Macedonia Drive to the east part of Macedonia. Coffee break on the shore of Dojran Lake. Dinner and overnight in Strumica , a city in the macedonian agricultural region.

7th day  Strumica

Monasteries of Vodocha and Veljusa

Breakfast. Morning visit to the monasteries of Vodocha and Veljusa near Strumica. Drive back to Skopje. In the central part of the country the vineyards scenery  and tasting of wine in a local cellar will completed your impression about Macedonia. Dinner and overnight in Skopje.

8th day Skopje

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of the program.
