Day 1 Ohrid

St.Sophia, St. Bogorodica Perivlepta, Gallery of icons, Antic Theatre 

09:00     Departure from Skopje
11.00     St.Sophia, 11 c. (well preserved 2 meter high and unique "Opus Macedonicum", as well as three unique frescoes, St. Bogorodica Perivlepta 13 c. (the first discovered frescoes with Renaissance motives) , Gallery of icons, with more than 30 icons that place this Gallery among the three of the kind in the world,  Antic Theatre 
14:30    Lunch in the unique ambiance of a typical Ohrid restaurant
16:00    Boat trip on the Ohrid Lake (1,5-2 hrs), 
18:00    Workshop for making of  Ohrid pearls. Use this oppportunity to learn the secret of making of the worldly renowned Ohrid Pearl, in the workshop of a family that keeps the tradition for generations.
20.00    Dinner

Day 2 Ohrid

We’ll take you to visit a village that still nurtures the tradition of washing jambolias in a traditionally made waterfall wooden basins. It is pretty surprising that this process is not only a craft, but also means of existence for the family that we are about to meet. This is one of the oldest crafts, but unfortunately it is being practiced in only a few of Macedonian villages. This craft has been widely used in the past.

10:00   Departure from Ohrid 
10:45   Arrival in the village 
11:00  Visit of the home of one of the local families, which will present to us the secrets of the traditional waterfall washing basins. 
13:00   Lunch: roasted lamb  
16:00   Departure for Skopje
