v. Stenje, beach Vakuf, Monastery St. Ilija, v. Konjsko, island Golem Grad, churches St. Peter and St. Dimitrija
08:00 Departure from Skopje
11:30 Arrival in Otesevo. We begin the trip on a raft on the lake, making stops in v. Stenje and the beach Vakuf, visiting Monastery St. Ilija. Visit of v. Konjsko which is located in the valley of Prespa Lake, with rustic buildings from Neolitic period. Finally, arrival to the island Golem Grad, at 2 km from v. Konjsko. Today, the island is unpopulated, but the archeological research proves that there were settlements here in the 4th c. and it was populated since the Hellenic Period until the Middle Ages. You will notice traces of various historic periods including the two churches from the 14 c. St. Peter and St. Dimitrija. The island is also known as the Snake island. The whole trip takes place near the coast in a raft, with stops in the mentioned villages. Those are typical fishing villages and the group will have the opportunity to meet them through the old ways of fishing and cooking the fish. During the trip there will be also lunch organized in an authentic atmosphere of one village inn or the raft itself. You will taste fresh fish cooked in Macedonian traditional way. In case the weather conditions do not permit a trip on a raft, the tour will take place on the east coast of the Prespa Lake, where several villages will be visited as well their monuments.

Day 2 Ohrid
v.Vevcani, Vevcani springs, Monastery St. Jovan Bigorski
10:00 After breakfast, we depart from the hotel. Visit of the springs of the Ohrid Lake in boats, in two groups, accompanied by the local guide.
12:30 The village of Vevcani is located in the foot of the mt. Jablanica and it is surrounded by forest and water. Vevcani tour and visit of the Vevcani springs.
13:30 Traditional Macedonian lunch in the restaurant Macedonian House.
16.00 The monastery St. Jovan Bigorski was built in the 11 c, and it was restored to the current state in the middle of the 18c. After the visit to the Monasterial church, the museum, the dining room and the inn, a coffee break follows as well as monasterial lokum Macedonian traditional dessert). The visitors will have the opportunity to see handmade prayer beads, and the visitors can take part i the process.
