Day One   Skopje

Arrival in Skopje. Hotel accommodation. Overnight.

Day Two  Skopje

Gathering in the hotel and leaving for the medieval fortress of Skopje – Kale, sight-seeing. Visit of the Mustafa-pasha mosque and the telegraphic building. Museum of Macedonia. Kurshumli Ann. Church of St. Spas and sarcophagus of the greatest Macedonian revolutionary Goce Delchev. Sight-seeing of the Skopje Old Bazaar and its monuments (Civte Amam, Carsi Mosque, Kapan An, Daut Pasa Amam). Stone bridge. The modern city square. The house of Mother Teresa and Mother Teresa Monument. Visit to the building of the Old Railway Station. Museum of Skopje. Lunch break. 12. Century church in Nerezi. Overnight


Day Three  Tetovo, Gostivar, Debar, Ohrid


Traveling through Tetovo, Gostivar and Debar. Panoramic sight-seeing of the mountain region with information about Macedonia, the history, the life here and “Q & A”. Visit of the monastery complex of Jovan Bigorski where one of the most beautiful wooden iconostasis is. Lunch break. Departure to Ohrid. Arrival in Ohrid. Hotel accommodation. Overnight.


Day Four  Ohrid


Visit to Samoil Fortress, Early Christian center on Plaoshnik, Antique Theater, church Perivlepta and the Gallery of Icons. Visit to St. Sofia. Workshop for hand-made paper. Museum of Robevci. Sight-seeing the Ohrid old town. Lunch at the center of Ohrid, near the harbor. Overnight in Ohrid.


OhridDay Five  Ohrid

Visit to the monastery complex of St. Naum. Free afternoon for walking and shopping in the old town of Ohrid. Overnight in Ohrid.


Day Six   Galicica, Bitola


Traveling through the Galichica natural park (mountain between the lakes Prespa and Ohrid). Arrival to Bitola. Walk on Sirok sokak pedestrian street and sight-seeing the monuments. Overnight in Bitola.


Day Seven  Heraclea, Prilep


Sight-seeing the archaeological site Heraklea – the most beautiful roman and early-Christian center in Macedonia, with the mosaic flours and marble statues. Arrival in Prilep, town of king Marko. Overnight.


Day Eight   Stobi, Skopje


Departure to Stobi. Sight-seeing the archaeological site Stobi, the roman buildings (Theater and Forum Romanorum), the early-Christian buildings (Episcopical Basilica, Baptistery, Civil Basilica, and Episcopal Residence), the Casino, Palaces, Stobi Museum, and the archaeological camp. Lunch break in a national restaurant in Gradsko. Traveling back to Skopje. Overnight in Skopje.


Day Nine    Skopje


Transfer to the Skopje airport. Departure.
