Welcome to the home of the worlds finest … The region of Tikvesh lays in the south of Republic of Macedonia, in the hearth of this magnificent land. Mile- long vineyards, good food and exquisite wine along with hospitable hosts are some of the things the region is famous for. For over two thousand years the cheerful people of the Tikvesh region have devoted their lives to grapes and wine and turned wine production into fine art. We cordially invite you to taste a piece of this magical adventure… Here is what we though would work best:
 Meeting up at the designated check- point at 08.00 h. Coach/car leaving for Kavadarci shortly after. The group arrives in Kavadarci at 09.20 h. A visit to one of the vineyards is scheduled at arrival. The visitors are offered a unique opportunity to participate in the process of collecting grapes. (provided grape-picking is organized that day)
Wine tasting at one of the following wineries “Tikvesh”- Kavadarci; “Popovi”- Sopot; “Pivka”- Negotino; “Bovin”- Negotino is scheduled for 12.00h. This is a great opportunity for the visitors to witness the entire process of wine production, from grapes in their hands to mouthfuls of heavenly wine. Various high- quality wines are offered during the wine-tasting. Should the group require, a walk in the center of Kavadarci can be organized.
A lunch at a traditional restaurant is scheduled for 15.00h. We sincerely recommend the following menu:
The famous local brandy (zhta).
Seasonal salad.
Macedonian Pot (a meat specialty) or Turli Tava (vegetable casserole).
Desert + 2 glasses of wine.

The price includes:
Car transfers to all of the enlisted destinations. Mini-bus transfers to all of the enlisted destinations. (These mini-buses are a property of TA “Balkan Turist” and are all equipped with air-conditioning, TV and audio system, DVD, microphone…A visit to a vineyard. Lunch in a traditional restaurant.
The price does not include:
Wine tasting at one of the above- mentioned wineries. (10- 15EUR, including appetizers and canapes) A qualified interpreter- 50EUR.
